Built in the 1930s, Dalethorpe is a charming English bungalow nestled
between the evergreen slopes of Kodaikanal. Though set in close
proximity to the heart of the tourist town (Convent Road –
less than a Kilometer from the lake), it is tucked away in its own
little corner away from all hustle and bustle.
Set in one and a half acres of lush green land, Dalethorpe is surrounded
by meadows, Pine groves, Eucalyptus trees & Wattles. Flanked
by beautiful lawns and a garden with exotic organically grown ornamental
flowers and medicinal plants, Dalethorpe is a haven for a relaxing
holiday. And that's not all, if you are lucky, you could probably
even spot some of the most beautiful birds native to Kodai including
the Nilgiri Laughing Thrush, White Eye, Serpent Eagle, to name a
few.
At Dalethorpe, we believe in personalized service and offer a wide
variety of home made vegetarian and non-vegetarian food from our
well equipped kitchens. We have two suite cottages and four deluxe
rooms with all the facilities of a Hotel.
Please Note : We do not function like
conventional resorts or hotels. Our services are unique and we try
to make your stay with us as homely as possible.
